Kaylee’s Hair

Bald no more!  Here are the final designs for Kaylee’s hair. We wanted to achieve a stylized hair design that could be modeled as a single mesh, and animated by hand, but also still feel like believable hair. Getting a natural flow to the locks, as well as  solid volume was really important. I think the design works, and will really push Kaylee’s appeal.

The ever-stylish Monika Norcross was the inspiration for the design. She patiently let me take about a billion photos of her hair as reference, so thanks, Monika! Let us know what you think!
